Finally, a Main Air Intake hose that flows well, doesn't wear out and offers a true increase in power. Unlike the factory hose it has no accordion section to disrupt airflow and it will not wear out or develop cracks. It's made from Silicone and the vacuum ports are welded stainless steel. It comes with, t-bolt hose clamps (stainless steel), silicone tubes, stainless steel vacuum port, AFM adapter, and K & N cone air filter. The OEM vacuum hoses will not connect to it. You will also need either our silicone vacuum hose kit or vacuum hoses from another source. The bracket materiel is included but you will have to bend it to fit your car and drill a hole it it so you can bolt it in.
This product offers a true improvement in performance. The first time you drive the car with this installed you will notice the difference. The improvement comes from a number of areas. The filter itself has more area then the stock filter and all of its area is usable. The factory filter has a lot of its area blocked by the housing below the Air Flow Meter. The factory filter box also forces a lot of the incoming air to make a 180 degree turn to get into the Air Flow Meter thus reducing flow. Air coming into the cone filter does not need to turn as much and can maintain a higher velocity. Of course this is true with most cone filters but unlike other kits ours put the filter in line with the factory's cold air duct. Cold air is denser then warm air and provides more power. Unless the cone filter is located near a source of cold air its advantages are lost on the GTV6. Our improved Main Air Intake tube flows very well due to its lack of turbulence causing internal ribs.
For extreme performance applications the vacuum port can be tapped to allow installation of a water or water/methanol injection nozzle.

Improved Cone Air Filter. We now use a K & N filter which is one of the best on the market. Filter is completely washable and reusable.
Racing Stainless Steel T-Bolt Clamps. T-Bolt clamps are more secure and can't damage hoses, Stainless Steel won't rust or corrode. It's that simple.
Stainless Steel Vacuum Port. Won't rust or corrode. Can be easily tapped for a water or water/methanol injection nozzle. We leave the vacuum port plain so you can choose your own color.
NOTICE : I know there are a lot of bolt on products that claim to increase the GTV6's horsepower and don't. I know because I have tried most of them. I worked on this product for two years and it works.

The driver's side exhaust exit is pictured below. We get a lot of compliments on this system. Everyone seems to love the way it looks and sounds. Most importantly it reduces weight and keeps heat off the rear brakes.
We have a side exiting cat back exhaust system for the GTV6. This system connects to the stock converter or European down pipes. This set up offers a few advantages over the stock exhaust system.
1. It's far lighter than the stock system.
2. It keeps heat off the rear brakes and brake fluid. This is very advantageous at the track. Anyone who has driven these cars at the track knows the rear brakes tend to overheat quickly.
3. Servicing the car is easier as the stock exhaust system is often in the way of under car work.
4. Reduced back pressure. Having tried nearly every cat back system on the market I feel certain that this one gives the most power. Of course it's also the loudest.
I initially planned this system as a track only system. However with the stock converter in place it is street able. I have been using it on my daily driver street car for about a year. I have never been pulled over with this system. It's loud at full throttle. In normal driving, especially on the highway it's just fine. Conversation and radio volumes are not impaired.
The kit includes both pipes which are bent very exactly. Ground clearance is just fine as the pipes are very tight to the body. It also includes all brackets needed. Installation will require some minor welding for the mounting brackets. The instructions are clear and any shop should be able to install this in no time. Once the brackets are welded on if you want to change back and fourth between this system and another it will be easy, no welding or cutting will be required. The car's jacking points are not blocked although it's darn close.
Pictured below is the exhaust system as viewed from under the car at the rear. You can see the system is no lower than the stock system. The bends are not simply one 90 degree per side, the shape is a little more complex to follow the contours of the car and maximize ground clearance.
